OpenOffice.org is an OfficeSuite which (almost two years ago) was started by SUN releasing the source of StarOffice5.2 under LGPL/SISSL. Developers are scattered around the globe and include a large number of volunteers as well as progammers of SUN. OpenOffice.org has been ported to new plattforms, it now runs stably on Linux/x86, Linux/ppc, Windows, Solaris, developer builds run on various BSDs and MacOSX, other ports in Progress. The latest build is Version 1.0.1, a bugfix-release to the popular 1.0.0. At this years Linux-Kongress we will demonstrate our software and answer your questions.
