Linux als Intranet-Server

The networking capabilities of Linux are excellent and from the technical point of view it is is suited to hook up to the internet. The steps to configure Linux as an Intranet-Server are well understood so this talk does not address them. Instead I will describe some of the non-technical problems which occur when using Linux as well as their solutions. This includes: transparency for the user, controlling features for the management, easy but secure administration, proof of efficiency. From my expirience such questions are much more important for the decision makers than the technical aspects
